Vacation!!!

Vacation.... what an amazing time. This is a short one... more like me being a complainer.

So, we get the whole I'm a relationship phobe and I just don't like them. They freak me out, right? Welll, why is that anytime a guy comes along that I may be even relatively interested in liking he lives far away?! What the heck?! I just don't get it. I know that life isn't fair... but really? Maybe it's because it's unattainable usually, so it seems more of a challenge. I don't know, but it sucks....

He did what?! Not sure I'm okay with that....

Okay, so in that post about two seconds ago I informed you of my relationship phobia. Sooo, I've hung out with this guy a few times. Nothing special, a casual lunch and a coupla slumber parties (No worries, nothing went down), that's it! Anyway, the boy (I'll call him Charlie) was in a bind so I let him borrow my car. See, he doesn't have a car, but he had an interview in an area bout 30 minutes away. His roommates were having a horrible time with their cars, soooo, he borrowed mine. Well he had to get the key from me. Charlie met me at a gallery that I was at. I had gotten two and a half hours of sleep the night before and was exhausted. I made a comment about and guess what he did?!?!?! Just guess?!

He KISSED my forehead. IN PUBLIC!! WHAT!?!?!? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it. It's a sweet and adorable gesture. Just like the guy (I mean, he really is. He calls just to talk, always asks to hang out, complements me, EVERYTHING).  So what's my problem!? Here is this guy, showing interest, is sweet, and is just an all around great catch, as far as I know anyway. But I just get all weirded out.

Ahhh.... the pangs of a crazy mixed up girls heart.....

My Unsubstantial Love Life

Sooo, I have relationship issues. A little background on my love life?

I've only truly been in love twice. I've said it before and THOUGHT that I meant it. Buuuuut, I didn't.

Truly in love number 1? My boyfriend in high school. He was the first person I ever loved. He is my first for everything. We dated for three and a half years. Still my longest relationship to date. We still talk almost daily, we still say we love each other. Sometimes, I think I might actually still be IN love with him. Sometimes I think that only reason for that possibility is because he's been Afghanistan for the past year and a half. Why did we break up? No reason in particular... I think I just got bored... We grew apart I guess. Well... more like I grew apart.

Truly in love number 2? My boyfriend from my sophomore year in college. Oh Ron... that's what I'm calling him... that's not REALLY his name. Anyway, Ron and I were crazy in love. Let's just say the break up was pretty gross. He was planning on proposing. See, the thing is, I let him get away. I fell out of love. Not because he did anything wrong, he was perfect. It just didn't work. We've been broken up for over a year. The thing is, he lives with my roommate and best friends boyfriend. Soooo, I still see him all the time. Oh! Not only THAT, he joined that dance group that I am involved in AFTER we broke. Say what?! Who does that? Ron, that's who. Anyway... point is, we've been slowly becoming friends again. And slowly I've been feeling as though I love him again. Well, at least I feel as though I miss him, anyway. Sooo... when he asked me on a date. I said yes. We made plans to go out after I got off work one Saturday afternoon. Turned out, my boss needed someone to stay. Well, I called to ask Ron how he felt about it, however, I got no answer, so I left a message. Then, after closer observation I realize, oh wait. I have a voicemail. Who could that be? So I listen, and guess what?! I get backed out on. What?! Who does that? Not only over a VOICEMAIL, but while he knows I'm at work?! Oh AAANNDD the excuse? He didn't want to put himself in a friend of ours position. Our mutual friend is having a hard time at the moment. Say what?! What a copout.

Alright, so that's the background of the truly in love aspect of my life. Since the big break up a little over a year ago? I have been the ridiculously mixed up crazy girl when it comes to relationships. I somewhat saw a guy for six months after Ron. Yeah, I REFUSED to acknowledge it as dating. Still do. Anytime a relationship gets REMOTELY to the possible relationship stage, I freak out! I think I am relationship challenged. I have been scarred by the only two real relationships I have ever had. Well, the ones that meant anything anyway.

So. That's my background on THAT. We shall see how everything plays out.....

BTW

By the way, I like shoes. Particularly fashionable athletic shoes... they definitely make me happy.

Who ARE you?!

Wow, so this it the very first time I have ever blogged... interesting enough. Who am I you may wonder? Well, let me enlighten you.

I'm a senior in college with a double major. I'm absolutely FREAKING out about real life... where I'll end up, if everything will work out accordingly. You know, the usual things a soon to be graduating college student often worries about. I love to stay busy, and sometimes overload myself. OH WELL! I love to travel. I went from a city girl to a small town girl. Who knows? Maybe I'll be a city girl once again. OH! Aaaaaaannnnndd I have a slight coffee addiction. Probably not the healthiest thing, but better then most. I'm not even nearly as bad as my friend (we'll call her HW). HW... now that girl has an addiction. I like to make others laugh. Usually I'm pretty successful at it... well, at least when something funny happens most laugh harder once I do. Apparently, snorting when you laugh is found to be humorous. Who knew?!

Who am I blogging? Let's just say, I have the most random things happen. I figure, most friends find them amusing, maybe someone else would. I tend to be a random person in general. It works well for. Anyway, I guess I'm just gonna tell my story. I'm at that age where I'm changing from a girl to a real grown woman. What better way to aid myself through this than to write about it. Hopefully, you won't find me to be too annoying. Well, even if you do, all ya gotta do is stop following me, huh? :)

Random comment of the day:  Have you ever tried teddy grahams dipped in chocolate frosting? You should, they are amazing. Kinda like dunkaroos! Remember those?
